Cain Is Not Able

It wasn’t that long ago that Herman Cain was the leading contender for the Republican candidate for President.  What happened?

On one hand, all of these Republican debates tend to get tedious and repetitive.

On the other hand, they have been helpful in terms of getting more exposure to these very important guys.

The increased exposures have brought Herman’s weaknesses to light.  Similar to what happened to Gov. Rick Perry of Texas.

Both of these guys shot to the top of the polls on….essentially nothing of substance!

Rick Perry is the governor of a state which has fared better than most during this recession.  He has the hair and he has the Texas manner of speaking, which only sounds “presidential” because we had eight years of “W.”

Cain is a successful Black business man.

But once we got these guys talking, it was apparent that neither is capable of holding the highest office in the land.

Perry stumbles and fumbles.  Most recently, he thought the legal voting age was still 21 years.  He has displayed a weak mind…almost stupidity in his remarks.  He’s out.

Cain too, has had mental lapses.  The infamous 11-second pause when asked about Libya….like it was the first time he had ever heard of it.

I grew irritated at his “keep telling them over and over and over” strategy during the debates.  How many times did we hear, “9-9-9?”  Or “I have a BOLD plan!”

Then there are all the extramarital dalliances and sexual harassment allegations against Mr. Godfather Pizza Man.

So, we have a womanizer who knows next to nothing about foreign policy and thinks if he says the same thing over and over again, we will like him even more.  86 the pizza guy.

If only Ron Paul was young and good looking!
