$1 Million Home

We are shopping for a retirement destination....and that destination may be outside the United States.  One of our decision factors is the price of real estate.  For example, when we consider Panama, we discover that real estate is very reasonable, especially compared to the current prices in Southern California.

We will, however, be excluding Pakistan from consideration based on what $1 million gets you in that country!  (Picture of UBL's house in  Abbottabad.)  What a dump!  A million bucks?  Really?

I think he overpaid!
